Please can anyone identify the uniform? The picture is supposedly of my grandfather who was born in London in 1901, but I have no other clues as to why, when or where this was taken.

8/19/2013 1:10 AM Probably a British army uniform for soldiers who served in warm countries. Perhaps he was in one of the Jewish battalions (of the Royal Fusiliers) who served in Eqypt and Palestine from 1918. But if he was born in 1901 he would have been s little young. There are lists of those who served in those battalions in the British Jewry Book of Honour.
