8/8/2013 9:48 AM it is written in Ladino, the old Spanish languish, spoken and written by Jews who are descendents of Jews expelled from Spain in 1492. (written sometimes in Hebrew letters; sometimes in Latin letters).

You are taken from your parents,
and you grieved all those who always loved you.
Your death was sudden.
Here rests our son Yaakov Shabtay, son of Yakar.
22 Adar 5694.
