This is part of family registration page of the Szecseny Jewish community. Jacob Leib Berger was my 2nd great grandfather - his name is in the last line, line 485. I would like to understand what is written bellow it on the bottom of the page, I think in Yiddish.

Thanks

8/7/2013 9:25 PM One possibility is tha it says - in Hebrew - "the son of Zalman Berger and xxxxx Klein".

My best guess for the Klein first name is something that ends with "ti".
8/15/2013 4:58 PM Hi Shaul,
I'm guessing that the mother's name might be Katti KLEIN. In my experience with people named Kati, in parts of the Austor-Hungarian empire, often they had a Yiddish name like Gitel, if that makes any sense to you.
Best,
Madeleine
