8/5/2013 1:54 AM Hello Alan,

I will check with mother-in-law who grew up in Shanghai around that time but can you please advise the name of your great Grandmother as this may help?

Regards,

Aron Segal

8/5/2013 7:24 AM By some remote chance, were your Gurovitch and/or Bronsteins from/near the Kishinev region of Bessarabia before going to China? Was there a girl possibly named something like Civia and/or a family with a surname like Goldglid? Thank you. Jeanne Gold #6106.
8/5/2013 7:47 AM hello Jeanne,
I think that some parts of the Bronsteins came to Kishinev, but I didn't recognize any of the names you wrote...
good luck,
Alon
8/5/2013 8:29 AM If this is a school for girls, why are there two boys in the picture? Observation: the little girls at the extreme left (bottom row and middle row) look like they could be sisters.
