The attachment contains a portrait photo of Jacob Ziskroyt as a young man wearing a suit with a circular pin in his lapel. The pin has the Star of David on it with Hebrew letters for the word Zion in the middle. Jacob is clearly dressed for a special occasion. The photo was probably taken in Odessa between 1896 and January 1904.
Is there something unique about the pin that indicates a specific organization to which he belonged?
