On  Response
6/27/2013 7:16 AM It reads "For good memory to [our] colleague Gofmann from M.[or W.?] Szapiro and S. Berger.
20 October 1920, town Szepetówka".

I am not sure of Szapiro's initial, it can be M. or W. or anything else (it looked to me even as "ia" at the beginning). I also noticed that the person who wrote it used Russian cyrylic letter Б instead of latin B in the name of Berger, so perhaps Szapiro's initial was also by mistake written in cyrylic letter? In that case it could be even Ш (Sh).

The name of the town was misspelled (there are also other minor spelling and grammar errors in this Polish text) - it should be Szepetówka instead od "Szepetówka". Most probably this is Шепетівка (Shepetivka) in today's Ukraine (alternative Russian name of the town is Шепетовка = Shepetovka).

I hope that helps.
