It came to pass in the Town of Sochocin on the sixth day of January in the year of one thousand eight hundred and sixty-seven at the hour of nine in the morning. Appeared personally Orthodox Jew Szmul Prusakiewicz, a trader forty-nine years of age, and Mosiek Tykocinski, a bookbinder thirty-five years of age, both of them residing in Sochocin, and declared that Orthodox Jew Hersz Jakob Szaynman, residing here in Sochocin and making a living from trading, forty-one years of age, born in the Town of Plonsk to Aron and Mychla, the Szaynmans, a married couple, had deceased on the fifth day of the current year and month at the hour of three in the afternoon, leaving behind his widowed wife Ruchla nee Popiolek, and his seven children, namely Zelda Arkiewicz, already married, and Mechla Szaynman, his daughters, as well as bearing two names Fabis Dawid, Laybus, bearing two names Aron Eliasz, Icek and Moszek, his underaged sons. The actual certificate was read aloud to the appeared neighbours of the deceased and subsequently signed by myself and the appeared.
