We are looking for information about our Josel and his family who perished during the Holocaust. The correspondence was sent to his brother Benjamin or mother, Chaja Ruchel, in the U.S.

On  Response
6/27/2013 8:59 AM This letter is from March or April of 1937, from Pinsk, and addresses "Beloved sister Chaya Rachel and your children, may you be healthy and rich, and listen to what I'm writing you". The text then goes on to say that "Your Josef received $50" two weeks ago, and the writer recieved $20 2 weeks ago (from the addressee). The writer wonders if the post took some of the money. The letter then discusses letters written or not written. I have trouble understanding it enough to give a reliable translation.
