On  Response
6/23/2013 6:24 PM It appears to be an op-ed piece centered around some official-type letters from a rabbi in Jerusalem, the first urging the unification of all Hungarian Jewry, the second apologizing for the misguided directive. It's all very political and long-winded and uses some phonetic transcriptions of Hebrew (I think), and there's absolutely nothing of genealogical value anywhere. There's no date or location given, either, although based on the spelling I would guess 1800s.
The (translated/transliterated) name of the rabbi in Jerusalem issuing the communiques is Jákov Soul Eljasar; the author of the op-ed piece (representing the stance of the publication) appears to be Orthodox, and blames "neolog" (non-Orthodox) factions for misinforming the rabbi. There is no indication of the author's name or location (besides somewhere in Hungary).
