This is the continuation of a message sent by Etka Schreiber in Sambor to her cousin Matylda Schiff Sicherman Borysław; the picture side is signed by Wolf Begleiter, who appears to add a message of his own.

On  Response
5/20/2013 8:37 AM The message at the top reads "Warm bows[regards] and kisses sends unknows [???]orowitzówna" [daughter of [???]orowit, I cannot read the first letter". It is followed by "I wrote to Berta to Piaski but I haven't received any response up to day - Etka".

The handwritten message at the bottom reads: "my address: Wolf Begleiter" and "because this is the very house. Sambor" and "the same street" after "ul. Kopernika".

The printed text reads "monument of Kościuszko, Sambor, ul. Kopernika". Sambor is a town (now in Ukraine), "ul. Kopernika" means "Copernicus Street".

Probably, Etka meant that her address was at Wolf Begleiter's house, at Copernicus Street in Sambor, and that the house in question was pictured on this postcard.
9/26/2013 6:02 PM The name is most probably Horowitzówna (daughter of Horowitz).
