Does anyone recognize this boy or know if this could be the work of an itinerant photographer perhaps? The image is stamped in Polish with "Jamina/Krakow" although I am not aware of any family living in Krakow. As far as know, our family lived in Szczekociny, Jedrzejow, Sosnowiec, Warsaw and Lodz, Poland.
Thank you very much.

5/2/2013 5:12 PM The correct spelling is JANINA. I assume this is the studio name.
5/2/2013 5:15 PM Studio Janina seems to still be in existence. Note that is is in the Kazimierz neighborhood which was the main Jewish area of Krakow.

Foto-studio Janina
Halicka 7
31-035 Kraków
Neighborhoods: Śródmieście, Kazimierz
5/3/2013 12:38 PM The current Studio Janina seems to have been founded in the last 20-30 years, but they may have heard about the old Janina (details at http://www.foto-janina.com/)

It would also be worth looking at genealogyindexer.org where there are old city directories for Krakow. I looked quickly, but couldn't find anything obviously relevant.
