Translation of worn Hebrew inscription desired; also interested as to significance of the leaflike shapes over some of the letters.

The only thing I can decipher from this tombstone for you is the name of the deceased's father. The father's name appears to have been Yitzchak.

Although I cannot tell what the name of the deceased was, I am jumping to a conclusion that he was a male. This is because I see the masculine form of the verb used to refer to the death.
