I'd like a translation of this document. I would especially like to know what Lage aus Herz means.

On  Response
4/21/2013 7:57 PM The groom, the merchant Leopold Levy, was not known personally by the registrar, and was therefore identified by a witness, the merchant Lazarus Herz.

Berolzheim, 5 Dec 1882

In front of the undrsigned registrar appeared today for the purpose of marriage:

1. the merchant Leopold Levy, identified by the merchant Lazarus Herz, of Jewish religion, born 24 July 1845 in Waldorf, Cologne district, residing in Waldorf, son of the deceased merchant Simon Levy and his also deceased wife Lisette nee Schranitz, residing in Waldorf
2. the single woman Mathilde Herz, known personally [by the registrar], of Jewish religion, born 8 Sep 1856 in Berolzheim, daughter of the deceased master glazier Benjamin Herz and his still living wife Sophie nee Affhaus, resident of Berolzheim
4/23/2013 1:34 AM I would read the name of the wife of Simon Levy, mother of Leopold, as Lisette nee SCHWEITZER.
4/23/2013 6:13 AM I had a second look and I agree with SCHWEITZER.
4/28/2013 8:37 PM Lin,

Both parents of both bride and groom are deceased.

4/28/2013 11:12 PM Read : Schranitzer and Affhauser instead of Schranitz and Affhaus
4/29/2013 2:50 AM "und dessen noch lebende Ehefrau Sophie geb. Affhauser"
= "and his still living wife Sophie born Affhauser".
4/29/2013 10:07 AM I would read the birth date of Leopold Levy as:
27 (not 24) July 1845 in Waldorf, county Cologne. Son of the deceased merchant Simon Levy and his likewise deceased wife Lisette, née Schmitz (?), living in Waldorf.

2. the unmarried Mathilde Herz, known personally (known after personality, very oldfashioned German), Jewish religion, born on 1 September of the year 1856 in Berolzheim.
Daughter auf the deceased glazier-meister Benjamin Herz and his ... wife Sophie, née Affhauser (?) living in Berolzheim.
4/29/2013 10:10 AM Sorry, I should add: 8 September 1856 is absolutely correct.
