12/18/2013 8:46 AM It came to pass in Lukow on the fifth day of October in the year of one thousand eight hundred and twenty-seven at the hour of two in the afternoon. Appeared personally Orthodox Jew Rafal Hersz Szpiro, the local Rabbi, together with

Orthodox Jew Izrael Sylbermintz, the bachelor residing in Kiedrzyn*, eighteen years of age, born in Kiedrzyn to Leyba, his father not alive anymore, and Rywa Sylbermintz, his mother still alive and residing in Kiedrzyn and making a living from the trade in small products,

and Sura Hinda Biderman, the maiden nineteen years of age, born to Chaim and Tauba, the Bidermans, a married couple, the merchants residing in Lukow, still staying with her parents,

in the presence of Rywa Sylbermintz, the mother of Izrael Sylbermintz, and Chaim Biderman, the father of Sura Hinda Biderman, as well as in the presence of witnesses Chaim Waxman, a trader forty years of age, and Dawid Perlman, a trader forty-four years of age, both of them residing here as well,

and declared that the religious marriage had been entered into before him that day by Izrael Sylbermintz, the bachelor, and Sura Hinda Biderman, the maiden, following double proclamation of banns in Lukow, namely on the twenty-third and the thirtieth day of September as well as the fifteenth and the twenty-second day of September of the current year in Kiedrzyn, and verbal consent to this marriage granted by Rywa Sylbermintz and Chaim Biderman, the fathers of the newlyweds, present there, and no marriage impeding had occurred, in addition to which the newlyweds declared they had not signed any premarital agreement before a public notary. The actual certificate was read aloud to the appeared and the witnesses and signed by the Rabbi Rafal Hersz Szpiro, Rywa Sylbermintz, Chaim Biderman and Chaim Waxman, whereas the other persons appeared did not know how to write.
