Would appreciate a word for word translation of this Yiddish inscription found on the back of a photo in my grandmother's album to determine the man's identity and possible relationship to my grandmother.
Thank you.

On  Response
3/10/2013 11:27 PM Hello Mady,

The language is Yiddish and the text states: Leybish/Leibish mayn bruder. The translation is: Leybish, my brother. Leybish and the variant spellings are the Yiddish equivalent to the Hebrew name Leyb.

I hope that this is the information that you need...Jo
