Marr. 32 reg. in Warsaw Oct 8, 1844 of Moszek Dawid Chaimowicz SALBE, widower, 31, son of Chaim and Gitla Geslow to Hana ALTSZYLER, 24, dau. of Nusyn Majerowicz, 50, and Jenta Chaimow, 50. Nusyn acted as duchowny. Witness: Zelman ALTSZYLER, 33
1/3/2014 8:44 AM It came to pass in Warsaw on the eighth day of October in the year of one thousand eight hundred and forty-four at the hour of nine in the morning. Appeared personally Orthodox Jew Nusyn Altszyler the son of Majer, the clergyman fifty years of age residing at number one thousand eight hundred and thirteen,

and Moszek Dawid Salbe the son of Chajm, the widower, as evidenced by his wife’s death certificate extract drawn up by the local commune, thirty-one years of age, a leather broker native of Warsaw, residing at number two thousand four hundred and thirty-six, the son of Chajm Salbe the son of Herszek and his spouse Gitla nee Gesel, neither of them alive anymore,

and Hana Altszyler the daughter of Nusyn, living off the parental funds, native of Kaluszyn, twenty-four years of age, residing at number two thousand four hundred and thirty-six, the daughter of Nusyn Altszyler the son of Majer, aforementioned herein, and Jenta the daughter of Chajm, his spouse fifty years of age present there as well,

in the presence of witnesses Aron Sandomirski, a szkolnik forty-seven years of age, residing at number two thousand one hundred and sixty-nine, and Zelman Altszyler, a teacher thirty-three years of age, residing at number two thousand three hundred and ninety-four and ninety-five,

and the very same above-mentioned Nusyn Altszyler the son of Majer declared before us that the religious marriage had been solemnized before him on the third day of October of the current year between the widower Moszek Dawid Salbe the son of Chajm and the maiden Hana Altszyler the daughter of Nusyn following triple proclamation of banns held in the local commune on the eighteenth and the twenty-fifth day of September as well as the second day of October of the current year, in addition to which he declared that no impediments to this marriage had occurred and the consent had been granted as required by law, whereunto the newlyweds declared they had not signed any premarital agreement between each other officially. At last the actual certificate was signed by myself, the clergyman, the groom and the witnesses after it was read, whereas the other persons appeared declared they did not know how to write.
