1/27/2013 5:21 PM This is Hebrew, from a tombstone

Rochel Sperling daughter of Akiva, may he rest in peace.
died 4 Tevet-5715 (December 29, 1954)
1/27/2013 6:50 PM I think this is Yahrzeit announcement. That's the second word on the top line.

The third line means "at rest"
Mrs. Rachel, daughter of Mr. Akiva, Shperling
Died 4th Tevet 5716 (1956)

1/28/2013 3:39 AM Hebrew:

Yahrzeit Board

On (announcing?) the passing

of the late

Mrs. RACHEL daughter of Rabbi Akiva SPERLING

Died 4 Tevet-5715 (December 29, 1954)
1/28/2013 8:17 AM "Luah" can mean board, but it also means calendar. This says "Yortsayt calendar" = calendar of anniversaries of person's death.
1/28/2013 8:20 AM The letter reysh before Akiva does not stand for rabbi; it simply means Mr., as indicated in a previous post.
