I have no idea where my family originated from. I have found a photograph taken of my grandfather in the Russian army towards I think the end of the 19th century. If anyone is able to translate these images they might give me a clue to where the photographer was located if nothing else.
Many thanks in advance for your help.

There are 2 town names at the right bottom corner, both in Ukraine
Proskurov - today Khmelnitzkyi

Starokonstantinov

Maybe there were 2 branches of the photo studio.
The stamps are of various awards and acknowledgments by Royalty
