I'm trying to determine location of address(es) in Riga for Census purposes. I think it's the same address written two different ways on passenger manifests. Any help would be appreciated.

1/20/2013 6:31 PM Hello Dennis,

It is my educated guess that both addresses are the same: Father....Izrael Markus, 33 Kalkelenstr.
Mothr.....Pessie Marcus, 33 Kalkolen Str.

You'll notice that the surname of Marcus is spelled in two different ways. When working on genealogy, one has to sometimes keep in mind that spellings do change randomly. Sometimes it's a mistake, and sometimes the spelling changes due to a (political) country change. In other words, sometimes spelling doesn't count...Jo
