I would like to know the gist of this postcard sent by my maternal grandmother(?) to her in-laws in the US following my grandfather's death. I would appreciate a more complete translation of any important information.

On  Response
1/22/2013 5:44 AM This letter is addressed to the in-laws. There is no date, only Sunday of p. Yithro and the name of the shtetl: Lomzhe.
She acknowledges the receipt of 293 rubles and thanks the family. She also gets regular financial support from her brother. When it is very cold she doesn't let her daughters Blumeh and Nekhome go to school because it is too far away from where they live. Nakhmen has his kheyder quite near by and it is warm there. She signs off as Yente. In different handwriting, greetings from Blumeh, Reyzel, Nekhome, Rykel, Nakhmen, grandma Leyeh Sheyne,...Brokhe Dobele.

Hope this helps you.
