This is a family document found among my grandfather's papers. I believe it is a document belonging to his father, Max Levy-or perhaps his father Julius Levy. I cannot read Hebrew and would be eternally grateful for a translation. Thank you in advance for your generous assistance.

Certificate

(this is to certify that) Mr. Max Levy married his wife at my home.
I conducted "khupe kidushn" (this is the Hebrew and Yiddish name of the wedding ceremony) according to the laws of Moses and Israel (this is the traditional formula to signify that the marriage was legal according to Jewish law).

(signed) Rabbi Meir L. Fridman of New York.

Hope this helps you.
