1/12/2013 3:51 AM This letter is addressed to "dear friend Mordecai and family" and is signed by Blima and David Lazenski.

The gist of it more or less as follows:

He thanks this Mordecai for taking an interest in their situation and says that they understand he hasn't got much time to write and read letters because he is very busy.
They received a letter from Hersch Mekheln(?) from Argentina saying that Khayim married on November 1st. Otherwise they have no special news.
They had hoped in the course of last year that they would be able to come to America.
Now they hope that they (he is referring to the UN general assembly probably) will decide about the Jewish land and they will be able to finally go back to their own country.
They are fed up with waiting and having to stretch out their hand begging for charity. They want to be dignified human beings like everyone else, abandon this gypsy life of wandering and finally settle, build, and create.

Hope this has helped you again.

I think I made a mistake there.
What he says in Yiddish is that he wants to live with dignity like everyone else (I think that "dignified" has a different meaning in English. Sorry, I'm not a native E. speaker)
