12/27/2012 12:51 AM Hello Elissa,

It is correctly translated, however it is very unusual for a Jewish son to be named after his living Jewish father.

So, I would wonder if there were some extenuating circumstances. This could happen in the case that a child was born after the father had died (before the child's birth). Another possibility is that perhaps the father's name is not correct. These are just thoughts to share with you.,....Jo
12/27/2012 1:00 AM Yes, you are correct. His Father was shot and killed just months before his birth, he was named after him.
12/27/2012 2:11 PM The last two lines below are written in Castillian. Castillian and Spanish are exactly the same language, but people from South America, such as Uruguay, don´t like to say that their language is Spanish, so that they won´t feel as if they´re still a Spanish colony.
Translation:
First line: Remembrance from your wife, daughter, son,
Second line: grandchildren (or it might be grandsons, for in Castillian they use the same word for both meanings), and sister-in-law.
