12/20/2012 5:53 AM Marr. 5 reg. in Golina Dec 24, 1848 of Sender Wolf JAFFE, day laborer from Konin, 27, son of Sender Wolf, tradesman and Cyrel to Hawa LEGEENTAL from Golina, 22, dau. of Wolf and Terce
12/22/2012 11:38 AM All that took place in the Town of Golina on the twenty-fourth of December eighteen hundred forty-eight at three o’clock in the afternoon. An Orthodox Jew Szmul Festenberg, The Deputy Rabbi of The Town of Golina, showed up in person accompanied by an Orthodox Jew Sander Wolf Jaffe, the day labourer aged twenty-seven, born in the City of Konin to his parents, namely to Sander Wolf Jaffe, the trader residing in the City of Konin and to Cyrel, not alive anymore, as well as by Hawe Legental, aged twenty-two, being supported by her parents, born in the Town of Golina to her parents, namely to Wolf and Terce Legental, the married couple residing in the Town of Golina, the day labourers, and declared in the presence of parents mentioned above as well as in the presence of witnesses, namely Zelek Bryks, the market trader aged sixty-three and Boruch Kazmierski, the salt merchant aged seventy, both residing in the Town of Golina that the religious marriage had been entered into on that day by the widower Sander Wolf Jaffe and the maiden Hawe Legental. The marriage had been preceded by a triple calling of banns in the synagogue in Golina, i.e. on the ninth of December, on the sixteenth of December and on the twenty-third of December of the current year. The verbal consent to marriage had been granted by the parents and no impediments to a proposed marriage had occurred. The newly married declared they had not signed any premarital agreement. At last the above certificate was read aloud to the appeared and to the witnesses and was subsequently signed by The Deputy Rabbi, the witnesses and the groom while the other persons mentioned in the certificate declared they were all illiterate.
