I would like to have this tombstone translated please. I believe this person could be an ancestor of mine.

I'll translate what I can for you. While I am unable to decipher much of the Hebrew text, I can tell you that this man was a "Kohane". First, there is a sign of two hands together, with fingers spread apart. This is the sign of a "Kohane". The second is shown in the text of the tombstone.

The final five Hebrew letters translate to: "May his soul be bound up in the bonds of eternal life". Hope that gives something with which to work....Jo

died 18 Shevat 5628.
May his soul be bound up int the bond of (everlasting) life.
