I would greatly appreciate it if one of the readers could attempt a translation of this gravestone that stands in the old Jewish cemetery in Frankfurt am Main.

Here Lies
The great rabbi(there's another adjective I don't know)
Moshe Ariyeh, son of the rabbi
The Gaon (leader of the community) Simchah the Levite
Bamberger

12/2/2012 4:36 PM Here lies the great and exalted rabbi Moshe Aharon son of the Rabbi the brilliant one our great & esteemed Rabbi Simcha the Levite Bamberger who was Rabbi & leader of the congragation of Shenlenke in the state of Pakzna (no vowels here, so I'm doing my best on the city and state).

Moshe suddenly far from his home left his wife, his family & his congregation. A great & renowned man in his Torah, in his charity, and in his wisdom. Many listened when his mount smoke and with this gentleness of his words. Right & left he didn't turn; a man of faith and pure hands. Praise to ?? in glory in the shade of above in the heights of heaven.

Born on the third day of the month of Iyar, the year 5629. And passed on the 26th of the month of Adar1 in the year 5684. And was buried with great honor on the
Wednesday after that. May his soul dwell in everlasting life.

In the state of Pozna (I.e. Poznan, Posen)

Moshe suddenly far from his home left his wife, his family & his congregation. A great & renowned man in his Torah, in his charity and in his wisdom. He turned many from sin with the words of his mouth and the gentleness of his speech. 

Born on the third day of the month of Iyar, the year 5629. And passed (literally: went missing, was no longer here) on Monday the 6th of the month of Adar1 in the year 5684. And was buried with great honor on the followingWednesday. May his soul dwell in everlasting life.
