I am hoping for a full translation. This came from a scrapbook of my gr grandmother Anna Bergman, I assume she wrote before emigrating to the US in 1900. I am most curious as to who she wrote it to and what the content is. Thanks.

Most Honorable S.Ya. Pobirsky!
Yesterday I received your kind letter with attached photograph. I am sincerely grateful to you for it and in general for all your letters. With great pleasure I remember all the past, and I am glad that you managed to finish in a favorable way, as for further, let them be (literally God be with them), it's not our business. I will stay in Odessa till October, so we will see each other. I will be delighted to talk to you about the past. I wish you and your family all the best in the upcoming New Year (the year in Hebrew).."
The letter is written by a male, obviously it refers to some past common events, I couldn't understand what he means. The signature is illegible.
