Inside pages of previous post, Letter to Shanghai from Germany to relatives Max and Frieda Rosen. Please translate if possible. I have a lot more old letters, this is the second part of this letter.

und Abends gab es Kaffe Kuchen

es freut mich, daß du schon etwas verdienst,
wenn es auch nicht viel ist, so brauchtet du
dich nicht die Reserven angreifen. Hier gibt
es wenig Neues. Ich arbeite jetzt im Tiefbau
bei der alten Firma in der Gegend vom
Bhf. Landsberger Allee die Arbeit ist nicht
leicht, besonders bei der kalten Witterung nicht
angenehm. Um 6 Uhr komme ich nach
hause und um 8 Uhr liege ich im Bett.
Da könnt Ihr Euch denken, daß ich für Besuche
wenig Lust habe nirgends hingehe.
Eben war Felix hier, der Euren Brief bestimmt
Euch selbst schickt. Von Hedwig hatten wir gestern
Post, immer derselbe Inhalt. Frau Seklein
ist am Mittwoch abgefahren über Lissabon
und schreibt sie an Euch selbst, sobald sie
dort ist. Was sonst Neues ist, interessiert
Euch vielleicht auch, Jacob Goldstrom
ist gestorben, Ida Ascher liegt im Kranken-
haus

hat sich operieren lassen, es geht aber schon zur
Besserung. Abrahamsche + Pum müssen am
Montag mit der Arbeit anfangen, was, weiß ich
nicht. Heute Abend werde zu Ascher's gehen.
Morgen gehen wir zu Onkel Gustav, mein ein
ziger Besuch. Am 19. fahren wir alle nach
Weißensee. Eben las ich den Brief, den Mutter
an Euch geschrieben hat, derselbe hat fast den-
selben Inhalt. Ihr seht daraus, daß sich
hier wenig Neues ereignet. Wie geht es
der l. Frieda? über deine Zeilen l. Heinzchen
haben wir uns sehr gefreut, auch ich bange
mich sehr nach dir. Jetzt habe ich niemand,
dem ich Märchen erzählen oder spazieren
gehen kann. Jeden Sonnabend gehe ich
zu Frl. Probst, wo ich meinen Einkäufe
mache u. soll Euch vielmals grüßen.
Nun meine Lieben habe Euch alles
berichtet. Schreibt bald.

I am glad that you earn something, even if it is not much, you don't need to dip into your savings. Here, there is little news. I now work in construction at the old company in the area of the Landsberger Allee station; the work is not easy, especially in cold weather [it is] not pleasant. At 6 clock I get home and at 8 clock I'm lying in bed. You can imagine that I have little desire for visits [or] to go anywhere.
Felix was just here, he will certainly post your letter himself. From Hedwig we had mail yesterday, always the same content. Mrs. Seklein has left on Wednesday via Lisbon and she will write to you herself as soon as she arrives. Other news might interest you too: Jacob Gold died, Ida Asher is in the hospital, she had an operation, but is already on the way of recovery. Abraham's and Pum have to start working on Monday, but I don't know what. Tonight I will go to Asher's. Tomorrow we will go to Uncle Gustav, my only visit. On the 19th we will all go to Weissensee.
I just read the letter that mother wrote to you, it has almost the same content. You can see from this that there are little new things happening. How is dear Frieda?
Heinzchen, we were fond of your lines. I am also longing for you. Now I have nobody to tell stories to or to take a stroll with.
Every Saturday I go to Miss Probst, where I do my shopping, and I should give you many regards from her.
