This card was sent to Matylda Sicherman in Biharnagybajom by her husband, Jacob Isak Sicherman, a soldier stationed in Krakow. On the picture, which shows the Kosciuszko-Hügel in Crakow, he wrote “Krakow 1915.”

Aber es last sich nicht wissen [illegible word] es kan sich auch länger verzögern bis es in Shatsachen[?] [??]mit dein sehr l. schreiben habe mich sehr erfrikt ich wünsche mir [illegible] ja [?] feier mit euch zu [illegible words] ist es nicht das wichtigen [?]. es ist mich gar kein meinung [illegible words] der l.g. soll sich erbarmen. dein karte [fragt?] das bild fan a abteilung der hiesige Festung. The hebrew letters after the name read "untill 120", a customary greetings.
The Hebrew word in the middle of the text stands for "Sukkot"

The Hebrew words are:
ב"ה = B"H = Baruch HaShem ברוך השם = Blessed is G-d

עמו"ש = Abbreviation for Ad Meah Ve'esrim Shanna עד מאה ועשרים שנה = (may you live) till 120 year

סוכות = Sukkot

גמח"ט = Abbreviation for גמר חתימה טובה = Gmar Chatimah Tovah = May the finalisation of the signing be good - a customary wish during the days between the Jewish New Year and Yom Kippur
