What town that photo is taken?
It is probably somewhere in Bessarabia or Romania.

4/22/2012 8:12 PM The words are English. Are you sure this is a European photo?
4/23/2012 4:25 AM "Cabinet Portrait" is just a format. It was introduced in 1866 and consisted in mounting photographic prints on sturdy cards measuring 4.25'' by 6.5'', to put on display in a cabinet.
