1/13/2014 6:49 AM It came to pass in the Town of Opoczno on the nineteenth day of May in the year of one thousand eight hundred and sixty at the hour of twelve at noon. Appeared personally Orthodox Jew Mojzesz Szymcha Alfus, the Rabbi of Opoczno Synagogue, together with

Orthodox Jew Zelman Szwartzman, the bachelor twenty years of age residing there in Opoczno and making a living from the profession of a hatter, the begotten son of Orthodox Jews Herszel, not live anymore, and Jochwet, still alive, the Szwartzmans, a married couple,

and Orthodox Jew Fajga Boczmak, the maiden twenty years of age, the begotten daughter of Orthodox Jews Herszel, not alive anymore, and Haj Sura nee Siek, still alive, the Boczmaks, a married couple, the widow, a day labourer staying with her mother there in the Town of Opoczno,

in the presence of witnesses, namely Orthodox Jews Lejbus Rozenblum, the szkolnik forty-eight years of age, and Szmul Wax, the assistant szkolnik forty-three years of age, both of them residing there in the Town of Opoczno,

and declared before me, a Civil Registrar, that the religious marriage had been entered into before him the day before at the hour of ten at night by Orthodox Jew Zelman Szwartzman, the bachelor, and Fajga Boczmak, the maiden, following triple proclamation of banns to the people gathered for prayer in the Jewish Synagogue on the twenty-eighth day of April as well as the fifth and the twelfth day of May of the current year, and verbal consent to the said marriage granted by the mother of each party and no impeding of the said marriage by anyone had occurred, in addition to which the newlyweds declared they had not signed any premarital agreement between each other, after which the actual certificate was read aloud to the appeared and subsequently signed by the very same along with the witnesses.
