The following represents the highlights of July's work. This does not include the previously announced data acquisitions from CAHJP in July.

 07/17/2015  Riwne and Ternopil archives acquisitions

This summer UkraineSIG acquired the following documents from the Riwne
archives:
1) Rowne census: 1884
2) Kostopol vital records: 1861, 1929, 1930, 1931, 1932, 1934, 1936
3) Siedliszcze birth records: 1934
4) Stepan vital records: 1861, 1874, 1879, 1882-85, 1887, 1891, 1894-95,
1898-99
5) Derazne vital records: 1843, 1847, 1855, 1864, 1885, 1889, 1907,
1913, 1915, 1917
6) Ludwipol vital records: 1863-65, 1877, 1881, 1891, 1894, 1896
7) Berezno vital records: 1888-89, 1897-98, 1924, 1926, 1931

This summer we acquired the following from the Ternopil archives:
1) Krzemieniec: list of childen - 1932, births 1874,1879; divorces 1889
2) Szumsk: divorces 1884
3) Poczajow Novy: divorces 1889-96, 1904-09; deaths 1878-87, 1890-1911
4) Nowy Oleksiniec divorces 1882-1914, deaths 1896-97, 1899-1906
5) Lanowce: divorces 1878-1883, 1897-99, 1919
6) Katerburg: divorces 1878-1915
7) Wyszogrodek: divorces 1882-1904, 1914

In order to begin working on translations for these, we need volunteers
to manage the projects and either recruit and supervise volunteers to do
the translation and transcriptions or to raise the funds to hire a
translator.

The images of the records are not available on-line. When the
translations are completed the transcriptions of the documents will be
searchable on the JewishGen Ukraine database.

 07/14/2015  Continuation of Acquisitions from Khmelnitskii Archives

The following is the final list of the acquisitions from the Khmelnitskii archives - its point of origin was the Kaminets-Podolsky archives.

This is the continuation of the list which appeared in the July 12 JewishGen and UkraineSIG Discussion Groups - there are many other files which we received from the Zhitomir, Riwne and Ternopil archives - information regarding these acquisitions will be submitted in the upcoming days.

Litin, uezd - 1313 images from the 1858 revision list including the following places: Mikhalpol, Volkovintsy, Derazhnia, Zinkov and Snitkov

 07/13/2015  New Data Acquisitions

Their SIGers,

This is the first posting about the new data we acquired while in
Jerusalem. The documents are not available publicly, and none of the
data has been translated or transcribed, so it cannot be searched. In
order to create a searchable index which will be included in the
JewishGen UkraineSIG database, we need someone to become a project
manager of this data and to create a proposal for fundraising, in order
to raise sufficient funds to translate the data.

The following was acquired from the Khmelnitskii archives - its point of
origin was the Kaminets-Podolsky archives. This is just the first portion of the
list:

1. Litin, uezd - 1936 images from the 1882 revision list
2. Luchinets - 73 images from vital records from 1851, 1863, 1864
3. Brailov - 259 images from the 1829 revision list
4. Vinnitsa & uezd - 530 images from the 1829 revision list
5. Voroshilovka - 79 images from the 1829 revision list
6. Kudievtsy - 29 images from the 1829 revision list
7. Kalinovka - 9 images from the 1829 revision list
8. Miziakov - 104 images from the 1829 revision list
9. Pikov - 152 images from the 1829 revision list
10. Stanislavchik - 31 images from the 1829 revision list
11. Strizhavka - 186 images from the 1829 revision list
12. Tyvrov - 90 images from the 1829 revision list
13. Iuzvin - 44 images from the 1829 revision list
14. Letichev & uezd: Snitkov, Derazhnia, Medzhibozh, Zinkov, Mikhalpol,
Volkovintsy, Butsnevtsy 1221 images from the 1829 & 1833 lists of
families for conscription
15. Litin - 1414 images from the 1852 families list
