The worldwide family of Jewish genealogists with Sub-Carpathia Ukraine roots needs your help in a variety of areas.

One of our goals is to create a KehilaLinks web site for every village or town in Sub-Carpathia that had a Jewish presence.

Many of you have already visited your ancestral village or town and have content to enrich a ShtetLink web site. Now is the time to memorialize your family (and Jewish life) there.

Some examples of the help we need for your ancestral village or town are:

• Translating tombstones (i.e., name and Hebrew date of death).


• Current day photographs of villages and towns.


• Photographs of cemeteries and tombstones.


• Contacting relatives (and others) to collect content for a KehilaLinks web site.


• Transcribing records relating to Sub-Carpathia Ukraine.
