Holocaust - the beginning

In 1939, after Hungary
annexed Subcarpathian Rus', draconian laws were passed banning Jews from
attending school or from running their businesses. Hungary's policy of legal
restrictions was gradually replaced by relocating the Jews into ghettos and,
ultimately, their deportation.
