Terry Lasky has taken it upon himself to personally telephone to
the Librarian at New York University to obtain her approval to send
rare microfilm, owned by them, of Russian language newpapers that
contained the Duma voting lists from Bessarabia.
He arranged to have these films sent, without charge, to his own
library in Denver, where he laboriously copied all of the
relevant lists from these papers, to help to create the spreadsheets
that were used to add more thatn 128,000 records to the JewishGen
All Romania Database, and for which project he acted as the Coordinator.
A truly exceptional effort!
In addition, He has also volunteered as a Project Coordinator for
Romanian Yizkor books.
