Osnat has been with the Yizkor Book Project since 1998.  She started as an htmler, but when we started accepting graphic images from the yizkor books, Osnat became fascinated with that work.  She decided to wanted to be the “go to” person to enhance  images.  She taught herself how to digitally enhance photos.

When donors submitted images that were almost unreadable, she made them look as if they had just been taken with a modern camera.  She has a wonderful aesthetic sense and tries to make every presentation visually attractive. Donors are amazed at the transformation of the original images.  She has taken on projects with hundreds of images and spends enormous amounts of time to complete each project to perfection.

Osnat is a wonderful asset to the Yizkor Book Project.  Lance felt he could not nominate her because she would have been angry at him even though he believes she is worthy of special recognition.  Osnat does not want to be in the spotlight and Lance did not want to upset her.  But I cannot let her work not be recognized.
