I first got to know Kurt when coordinating the Dachau Indexing Project.  Where most volunteers handled 10 pages of images in 3-4 weeks, Kurt was turning them around in less than 1 week!  After I had worked with him for a while, I asked about his interest in this project.  Kurt is a Dachau survivor and his name was listed amongst our records!

He has a continuing interest in capturing as much information as possible for all HDB projects.  He works non-stop for us and has done so or years.  Without exaggeration, Kurt is probably responsible for tens of thousands of data entry records and I wouldn’t be surprised of he’s close to or in excess of 100,000.
