Joyce began her volunteer experience with JewishGen in 1994 when JewishGen launched the Yizkor Book Translation project. In 1998, she became Vice President of Research and as JewishGen grew, she became Vice President of Data Acquisition.

Her incredible talent for organization and managing multiple projects ongoing became evident as all the projects she involved herself in, including but not limited to JOWBR continued to grow to incredible heights.

Joyce is an integral part of JewishGen and upholds the mission and goals of this organization.
