Not only did Eric serve as the project coordinator of the 1828 census project, once all of the records available from the FHL had been transcribed, he agreed to coordinate another major project, the “Other Census” project. As the project coordinator of both projects, he has managed large numbers of volunteers and reviewed every record.  Eric accepted the position as project coordinator of the 1828 census project in January 2002 and the “Other Census” project in January 2006. Over 30,000 records have been transcribed in the 1828 census project, and his team has transcribed about 10,000 “Other Census” records.
