While Dick has been around JewishGen since its inception, he started his volunteer effort as one of the JewishGen moderators during the formative years. In 2003, Dick became the Manager of the Lyris Mailing lists overseeing the moderators of not only the JewishGen Discussion Group but the moderators of all the public lists we support and host.

Dick must be applauded for his ability to explain the guidelines and  to continue to make recommendations to accommodate the changes in the industry so that we can best adjust to the needs of JewishGen and its constituents.

He has truly been an asset to JewishGen over these many years and he continues to remain steady and objective in this very public role.
