Carol's work on behalf of the Hungarian SIG have become a model for the SIG Research coordinator position. She has defined this vital position. Carol has been the primary force behind the creation of the All-Hungary Database, which now includes more than 350,000 records. Without her organizational skills, management expertise, and, most of all, her sheer devotion to this project, it never would have happened. In her "spare" time, Carol has also been serving as Acting Webmaster (mistress?) for the Hungarian SIG website. Because she is such a hard act to follow, we haven't yet been able to recruit a volunteer to take over this responsibility.

Carol has an extraordinary ability to make order out of chaos. This was amply demonstrated by the work she did to upgrade the H-SIG website, which involved sorting through all of the static lists and converting them to searchable databases to augment the AHD.
