Indices for previously unavailable records
The goal of the Jewish Records Indexing - Poland milestone agreement with the Polish State Archives is to index all Jewish vital records more than 100 years old in the Polish State Archives that are not included in the microfilm collection of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (the Mormons). Copies of these records are available from the Polish State Archives. Where such sources are available, Jewish Records Indexing – Poland is also creating indices of Census records for the towns in the Sanok Archives.

Indexing is proceeding on an archive by archive basis.
As the fundraising target is reached for each town, the data is processed and the information from the indices will be eligible to be added to the on-line database. See the Project Status page for the current fundraising status for the towns in the Sanok project.
