Making your town “Shtetl CO-OP Ready”

At last year’s conference, JRI-Poland and the Toronto Copy Service introduced a new initiative to speed up our massive indexing task. If you’re unable to lead a Shtetl CO-OP or volunteer your services, you can still expedite the indexing of your town’s records. You make a tax-deductible contribution to cover the cost of photocopying all the index pages for your town. Then, when the pages have been delivered, JRI-Poland will search for a Shtetl CO-OP leader. There is only one condition… the order for photocopies must be for ALL the index pages from ALL the films for the town. So, for $25 per film, you can make your town “Shtetl CO-OP ready!”
