A vital part of the Shtetl CO-OP initiative is the JRI-Poland - JGS of Toronto Copy Service. For the modest tax-deductible contribution of $25 per film, the Toronto volunteers will copy all the index pages on each microfilm roll. The combination of excellent equipment at the ultra-modern Toronto Reference Library, and index pages blown up to 11 x 17, means that reading the old Polish script has never been easier! This service has made it possible for Shtetl CO-OP leaders to concentrate on the task of co-ordinating volunteers, rather than having to organize photocopying.
