Both our volunteers and professionals produce spreadsheets with indices to the town's records, usually an entire microfilm or at least a range of years. The data entry is checked before it gets to our Transliteration Co-ordinator, and if there are questions of accuracy and additional work is needed, the files are sent to our volunteer proof-readers. Then Database Manager Michael Tobias or his database manipulation team headed by Howard Fink, put the data into a standard format needed to integrate it into the master database.
