There is a box right at the top with links to most of the information you need to know…
the FAQ, the Frequently Asked Questions explain the project as well as how to interpret the search results.
The Shtetl CO-OP pages outline the system for indexing the records in the LDS films.
The Polish State Archive project details how the records not filmed by the Mormons get indexed.
On top of the box, there’s text that says “for beginners.” I can’t tell you how often first-time users send us email asking the most basic questions, the ones covered in the “for beginners” link. So, if you’re new to JRI-Poland, start there.
When you know a little more about the project, it’s then time to “Search the Database.”
