JRI-Poland would not exist if it had not been for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. So it’s fitting, here in Salt Lake City, that our first expression of gratitude should be to the LDS. The 2000 rolls of microfilm of Jewish vital records of Poland is the foundation of what has become the most successful indexing project in the Jewish genealogical world. We shall always remain indebted to the LDS for this special gift.
