Wladyslaw T. Batoszewski and Antony Polonsky, 1991,
Basil Blackwell Ltd, reprinted with the permission of the publisher.

It is not known for how many years Jewish metrical records for this location were kept in separate registers. But it is likely that this was one of the last registers used for this district as a new administrative area to embrace the suburbs of Warsaw was implemented in 1916. One Russian language register did survive and it contains 46 birth registrations, 9 marriages and 46 deaths.

The records are in the well-know paragraph format and contain the usual references for vital records of the time. .

Because of the small size of the Kaskada collection, JRI-Poland will create expanded indices and these will be available to researchers through the JRI-Poland on-line database.

The fundraising target for this initiative is $50. Contributors of $18 will be eligible to receive an Excel file with all entries.

The indices for this project will be released to the JRI-Poland database after the fundraising target has been met. However, contributors of the minimum (referred to above) will receive the Excel file as soon as it is available.

Contributions should be made to Jewish Records Indexing – Poland.
