JRI - Poland Bychawa Shtetl Co-op Project

The Bychawa project is well underway with the following civil records indexed and added to JRI-Poland's on-line researchable database:

Bychawa records for the years 1855-1863 and 1864-1867

These records are from the following LDS microfilms:

Film no. 1201223        1848-1873 BMD
Film no. 1201222        1852-1875 BM
FIlm no. 1201225        1869/1877 BMD

I am now in the very slow process of transcribing 1868-1875 indexes which are in Russian. I cannot read Russian and try to grab some of the many Russians who live in Melbourne. No easy task, but I'll get there. If there is anyone who could help me with the transciption of the Russian, I would appreciate an e-mail.
