Arline Sachs, a retired associate professor, has been doing genealogical research for over 25 years. She served as president, vice president, and secretary of JGSGW. She is a frequent lecturer on genealogy for the Lifetime Learning Institute, and has for the past 14 years been co-host of the television show “Tracing Your Family Roots,” which is broadcast in Fairfax County, Virginia and can be seen on the web at Over 200 shows have been recorded, including 9 on various aspects of DNA. The show is seen in Northern Virginia and has been picked up by numerous non-profit TV stations around the country. Sidney Sachs is the producer of the show and together they received the IAJGS Salutes achievement award for their commitment to Jewish Genealogy.
